Nihao China card binding failed (Visa/Mastercard) — what to do?
Adding a bank card fails, or the UI says only UnionPay is supported. For many visitors, Visa/Mastercard simply aren’t on that bind rail — it doesn’t always mean your card is broken.

考えられる原因
- This entry/product build only opens UnionPay card binding
- Issuer blocked cross-border or 3-D Secure; OTP never arrives
- Card BIN not allow-listed, or prepaid / virtual cards rejected
- Cardholder name doesn’t match passport romanization
- Region or IP limits closed the bind channel
試す手順
- Read the exact message: “UnionPay only” vs verification / timeout failure.
- If UnionPay-only: stop retrying Visa/Mastercard — switch to Alipay/WeChat foreign-card or Tour Pass below.
- If verification fails: enable overseas payments + SMS/email OTP in your bank app, then retry once.
- Match the card name to passport spelling (spaces / middle names).
- Try a physical credit card (avoid some prepaid/fintech cards) on the official entry.
- Still stuck: cash + Places rows tagged for foreign cards/Alipay, or WeChat Tour Pass.
