Foreigners already in China whose visa or stay permit is still valid and who need a longer stay for the same purpose.
Where it is filed
The exit-entry administration of the public security bureau in the city where you are staying — not a Chinese embassy abroad.
What we do not promise
The local bureau decides whether an extension is possible and for how long. Apply before the current permission expires. We collect the file and hand it to the visa agent. We do not guarantee the bureau will extend the stay.
Documents the agent will ask for
- Passport bio page and the current visa or stay-permit page.
- Temporary accommodation registration for the city where you are staying.
- The local exit-entry application form and the reason for the extra stay, with supporting evidence.
